New RWYBite here, having watched it all for the first time last week, fortunate timing as it happens. I’m now rewatching with my wife who surprisingly is really into it so far.

Despite 13 seasons being silly I think we are still on an information drip feed.

On my watch I thought, without making a thing of it, Emerald was pretty clearly into Cinder, the way she orients around her and holds poses in disappointment. I have no real shipping bone in my body and no sensitivity at all. The only thing I’ll be annoyed about is they’ll need 13 seasons to persuade me Ruby is into any one at all!

On a related issue I would like to see disabled Cinder – Ruby having say frozen her left side or something. That would really give her some quality rage and make for an interesting relationship with her subordinates..

Awesome that you checked out RWBY! Ooo Emerald into Cinder, I could definitely see it, and it’d be a pretty great pairing. And yeah I really agree, them going romance with Ruby would probably be a disaster. Biggest worry is they try to do Jaune and her this season… (either she likes Weiss which I think would make sense or no one at all!)

Disabled Cinder is an awesome idea I think. I’d love if they still had Cinder be a major player this season and in fact increased her characterization. Seems like they’re going that territory with Yang and wouldn’t with her? But still would be interesting.
