Hi there, just a correction about something that was said. ShadowMachine did NOT animated the show. They did the design work, pre-production/post-production. The animation was done by JamFilled Entertainment. http://www.jamfilled.com/ottawa/work-2/
Ah, interesting! Thanks for letting us know, I hadn’t heard that before.
I enjoyed the show, though agree with most of your reservations.
One thing that unsettled me a little was that Gary’s voice sounded a lot like adult Marco’s!
I didn’t like the piano theme used to any underline poignant moments – too mushy.
I don’t know if it’s a nod to Red Dwarf, but Kevin’s ‘job’ reminds me of why Holly said he’d selected Rimmer to be brought back to keep Lister, also a lone human on a ship, company (i.e. irritating him to keep him sane).
