Listener Feedback for Tiger Philanthropist (Steven Universe) – Overly Animated Podcast #333

By: Justin Cummings

Justin Cummings and Michelle Anderer take your questions and comments on the latest episode of Steven Universe, “Tiger Philanthropist”!

I'm currently studying Communication at Lynchburg College with an emphasis in Electronic Media and a double minor in business and gender studies. I've been a huge fan of animation since I was little and thus have very eclectic tastes. Outside of animation I love Survivor, comic books, and a whole treasure trove of other things.

I know you were kidding mostly just wanted to have some fun 😛 we’re all good

  2. Steve says:

I am glad you got me, my comments were more half and half serious, half and half joking. I was just having fun.

But I am serious I don’t like secret identity tropes, even worse is when the secret identity is revealed, only for memory to be lost of that discovery. The one thing that ruined Trollhunters for me. Though I hardly consider Tiger Millionaire / Philanthropist a secret identity. That more of a joke.

For the record I am a wrestling fan to, though more of a fan of the old school wrestling. My favorite era, 1980’s Jim Crockett Promotions, when wrestling was wrestling. You had the Nature Ric Flair in his prime and the original 4 Horsemen, the Road Warriors, the Midnight Express, the American Dream Dusty Rhodes. Not saying today’s wrestling is bad, just different, but really look up NWA World Championship Wrestling, or NWA Worldwide Wrestling, or NWA Pro Wrestling, circa 1985- 1988, you are in for a treat my friend.

Justin I emailed a little tweet, if I knew you were such a big wrestling fan I would have sent it to you sooner, anyway after you check it out, email me and tell me what you think.
