I actually kinda differ on your opinion in masculinity in Anime. I think Anime does a good job in having many male characters show their emotions, characters openly cry and express their emotions to others whenever needed. Usually when there is a male character, or a female one, that rarely showcases their emotions there is usually a reason behind that, unlike in western movies, I feel that Japanese animation go a great deal in humanizing these characters and making their utter lack of emotion outliers or products of society or their own actions. It’s not exactly bad to have characters like these, because they do exist. I myself have a very subdued emotional range. But just because they have these characters doesn’t necessarily make them toxic. You can have these characters, and you can counter characters to these characters, or you can have these characters, and develop them as extemes rather than the average. Toxic masculinity, I think, needs to have a definition change, as instead of hypermasculinity, its the glorification of masculinity but not the portrayal of it, because those people do exist, and not all of them are bad people.

Actually it is a Fall anime, not a Winter anime. The Winter anime season is from January – March, Spring anime season April – June, Summer anime season July – September, and Fall anime season October – December. That is the way it works in the world of anime.
