  1. Roy says:

We are just hurtling towards some sort of reckoning between the reality of who Rose really was and how the people who loved her perceived her. I really she has a diary it something stored in memory banks of her room or something like that. That or it world be really interesting to have Steven have a frank discussion with Bismuth or Jasper about her.

  2. Sel says:

Why is everyone saying Steven murdered people? Bismuth is alive, just poofed. Jasper is corrupted, but it wasn’t even Steven who poofed her in the end. The Rubies are in space, but they were alive when last seen (and Eyeball would’ve ended up just as alone in space if she’d killed Steven, anyway). I completely understand why he feels guilty about those events, I would too, but I feel like it’s misinformative to talk about Steven killing people when they’re like… still alive? It’s kinda factually incorrect. The only (presumably?) real kill you could claim Steven making for sure is the painting/breakfast monster made from gem dust, which he pushed into that lava pit.

I mean, the Rubies might end up getting cracked in space or something, but there isn’t *that much* stuff to crash into in space. Eyeball getting cracked by an asteroid was probably a case of protagonist-centered probability (that thing where stuff that happens in a story has a statistically improbable tendency to happen near the main/POV character, because otherwise the story would be boring and confusing). And getting stuck in space sure is gonna be terrible, unless Homeworld comes looking for them (Eyeball seemed to have plans of bringing Rose’s gem back to HW somehow, although she may have failed to think of the practicalities…). But they were all entirely alive when last seen.

I tell you Amethyst not in this episode for a reason, an episode about fusion, they are not ready for Connie to know about Smoky Quartz just yet, and that is going to be an interesting moment.

Connie could become a little jealousy, she and Steven share that bond that is fusion and Steven just fuses with someone else, or brings back some of her past insecurities, maybe she will think Stevonnie can not keep up with Steven’s fusion with gems, that they are just more powerful, and she might be holding Steven back.

    • Dylan Hysen says:

Yeah that’s gonna be really interesting. I assume she’ll be mostly fine with it? But idk

      • Steve says:

You think Ruby would be fine if Garnet unfused and Sapphire fused with another gem, nope she would lose it, but Connie is not Ruby isn’t she.
