Once again Pearl steals the show, and Jamie has to cast Pearl in this next play.
Did you notice Garnet and Pearl’s reaction to Pink Diamond, they know something.
I think they just knew that Rose shattered PD. Or they think that.
It’s still hard for Steven because he’s heard nothing but glowing praise and affection for his mother, and now he’s forced to accept the reality that she might have done some terrible things in order to save Homeworld.
And Rose kept secrets from the crew, even from Pearl (like Bismuth?) If it shocked them that she shattered Pink Diamond (I’m taking the theory that she just bubbled her though), it wouldn’t surprise me.
I can’t believe Steven is dead, he will be missed. Who will be the star of Steven Universe now?
How did you guys miss Amethyst slapping Pearl’s butt in her Jasper form? Small dose of Pearlmethyst.

I’m also out on the theory that PD is in on the shattering plan. I don’t see why she wouldn’t just declare that she’s done with the Diamonds and Homeworld? What’s the benefit of pretending to be shattered and causing all the other diamonds to send tons of troops down to Earth to stop this “supposed rebellion”? What’s the benefit of having her closest friends think she’s a murderer, instead of telling them that they have a full fledged diamond who supports them but doesn’t want to bring the full wrath of the other diamonds? It’s just convoluted at this point. It could be as easy as she shattered PD and immediately regretted it. And she decided that wasn’t going to be something she did anymore to win. Under any circumstances. Then she tried her best to fix PD and Lion came to be or something like that.
I’m putting my eggs in the seeing Rose next episode basket as well. We’ve been building to it, at the speed the show is going now it’s probable. I’d hope we’re all right.
I love how Lapis says she put the Rubies in timeout and Garnet just picks one up by the shirt and holds it like a football.
The Rubies are basically a bunch of 5 year olds and its hilarious.
It is a shame Jasper didn’t meet the Rubies. I am sure they would be honored to fuse with her and they wouldn’t leave afterwards.
And if we ever get Jasper on our side, the Rubies would follow suit.
