Glad to see there are a few more Jackie fans out there.
I feel Jackie gets quite a bit too much Starco-shipper’s hatred. It seems every fandom has one character that fans dump on as being a terrible, horrible person, and yet they do nothing (I’m looking at you Potter fans who dumped on Cho Chang!).
Part of me still hopes that because Marco’s had a crush on Jackie for so many years, something storywise can come out of that…though Blake from their class, might be a bit of a wedge. We see him riding flying stingrays alongside Jackie in ‘Interdimensional Field Trip,’ and in ‘Marco Grows a Beard,’ Jackie compliments Blake’s facial hair.
But yeah, I just hope they don’t do like ‘Freaks and Geeks’ and slam the door on that relationship arc, like the one between Sam Weir and Cindy Sanders.
lol, Jackie is pretty cool and so was Cho for sure! I mean, crush from Marco doesn’t mean Jackie feels that way at all, so I don’t think it needs to go anywhere, and to a certain extent I think the show might avoid that type of thing to avoid validating male crushes as like inherently significant, but they could totally do a Marco actually gets to know her type thing.
I liked the song in the episode, but I loved the invisible goat joke, and of course Starco in the end.
It is just me or is this Lydia person could be related to Janna. Or maybe Janna in disguise plot twist.
And how about Star telling Jackie to shut up, I know the Starco are loving that.
