Hey there! I left a comment under this episode on the youtube video, figured it’d be safe to send it here, too:

Good Guy Galra (who helped out in this episode) actually isn’t Prorok! His name is said to be Thace in a prior episode, and he works under the command of Prorok. … And I realize y’all might’ve figured that out by now, seeing as this episode came out in June, so sorry if this is redundant!

By the way, what do you guys think about the Galra (or part-Galra) Keith theory? Here’s some evidence backing it up: http://amalgamoffaces.tumblr.com/post/146790721696/kk-i-keep-seeing-around-that-keith-is-galra (It includes some stuff about Thace, actually!)
I personally think it’s plausible and.. holds promise? They just sort of have to be careful with how they handle it, if that’s how they wanna go about it. I figured, if in the event that they make Galra!Keith a thing, it was in an attempt to reference characters in the original Voltron (Prince Lotor!), or as a device to cause more internal conflict. I’m just scared that it’ll end up being a Keith-exclusive angst battle and he, like, runs away or does something stupid. Hopefully he (and the writers) are chill enough to talk it through and not make a huge melodramatic cliché out of it?? Maybe I just have low standards (being a glutton for angst, n’ all) but I think I’d be fine either way? But yeah, I’d definitely definitely prefer it if they handled it rationally and didn’t adhere to any Edgy Keith Route because that’s no fun at all, my dude. Fans seem to like the interpretation where post-reveal Galra Keith has Thace’s genetics with the whole purple skin, yellow eyes, wolverine-lookin’ hair stuff goin’ on.
What do you guys think? Is it plausible? Would you like it, and how would you prefer it be handled?

Thanks for reviewing one of my new favorite shows, this was a lot of fun to listen to! Have a nice day!

Thanks Ella!! Yeah the Thace thing is interesting.. I hadn’t heard the Keith Galra theory! It’s super interesting and I think I hope it happens cause it’d make up for the lacking characterization Keith has.

I don’t know the Galran who helped them or his motives, but I hope the Galra race is not just a race of evil people. I feel when a antagonist is either a country or another planet, any type of state, they shouldn’t be just plain evil. Like the Fire Nation or Homeworld, the people in charge are evil, doesn’t mean all the citizens have to be evil. You get what I mean?

Off topic, I think the season finale of Steven Universe will end with the separation troop, well kind of, I don’t think Steven is going to be completely alone, he will be with the reformed Homeworld gems or the Barn team, while all the original Crystal Gems are somewhere else.

Have you guys thought about making a podcast for Dragons:Race To The Edge on Netflix?
