More, it’s a loanword from English; its just “Clone” in a Japanese accent.

I think Shiro is probably a sleeper agent.
I think Lotor is going to sent Acxa as punishment for her failure, she probably know Lotor expects her to die, that is just the way Lotor rolls, he is not the forgiving type, but he won’t unleash venom to your face.
Ulama was the galra who helped Shiro escape.
