Diana was more tsundere in the original. That’s what you guys were trying to say.
I think I liked Sucy and Lotte better in the original short movies.
Who’s the “O” character? Or at least what show are they from?
Ursula is probably my fave character in the series and I can’t wait for you guys to get to later episodes with her.
Diana’s my second fave, but I think the show mishandled her at some points.
I do think the major stand out moments are later in the series, so I’m excited for you guys to get there.
My character rankings (with knowledge of the FUTURE) would probably be:
1 Ursula, 2 Diana, 3 Sucy, 4 Akko, 5 woman Ursula usually gets shipped with, 6 Constance (the small, quiet one with tech, mainly due to a single, really awesome episode), 7 Amanda (orange-hair girl, only slightly lost to Constance), 8 Lotte (peaked in the OVAs tbh), 9 Jasminka (girl who eats a lot), 10 token male from OP, 11 Hannah and Barbera, 12 token male from OP’s friend
My ships: Akko x almost all the other girls, Ursula x the woman fandom usually ships her with, and token male from OP can have token male from OP’s friend.

Things I wanted to mention on the podcast just either didn’t come up or didn’t have time to.

First of all the music scores, I love the music score, what do you guys think?

I wanted to compare Akko and Sucy’s relationship to that of Marco and Janna.

I wanted to break the Diana, Hannah and Barbara dynamic of it is like Chloe was nice and we had two Sabrinas that were really mean.

Really enjoyed this episode. Whether it’s LWA or other shows/movies I’d love more anime coverage. The Nausicaa podcast is still one of my all time favorites.
