Good discussion, enjoyed it a lot. Concerning Marco’s involement in this upcoming special, Toffee already kidnapped him once before as a pawn to get what he wanted. He’s knows he is Star’s weakness, which means he’s River and Moon’s weakness. And Marco’s parents will need to be hidden as well. This might have been an oversight on moon and stars part in the rush to get back to Mewni (not to mention stars confesion). Moon Might also be thinking why involve and endanger the Diaz family as well. However, “Storming the Castle” should have given Moon n River pause that the ties between Marco, his parents, and Star, are more complicated and a possible vunerability. Just my thoughts.
Great point! I’d love a marco kidnapped plot, it’d be a great way to tie him into the action on Mewni, and yeah maybe the Diazes too!
