XCVII (Samurai Jack) – Overly Animated Podcast #357

By: Justin Cummings

Justin Cummings and Michelle Anderer discuss the April 22nd episode of Samurai Jack, “XCVII”.

I'm currently studying Communication at Lynchburg College with an emphasis in Electronic Media and a double minor in business and gender studies. I've been a huge fan of animation since I was little and thus have very eclectic tastes. Outside of animation I love Survivor, comic books, and a whole treasure trove of other things.

  2. Steve Zec says:

You know the one time I remember that word to be used on a animated show was a season 3 episode of South Park “Cimpokomon”, anyone remember that?

  3. Robby Williamson says:

I’m fine with whatever direction they decide to take Jack and Ashi, so long as it’s executed well. I don’t see the age difference as a huge deal, considering pairings with comparatively young characters and much older ageless characters who appear young is a fairly common thing in fiction. i.e., Greg Universe and Rose Quartz. Whether or not they could craft a believable romance in a few episodes is a reasonable concern.
