Well Two Steps Forward Two Steps Back, I think it means things are looking up for 2 of our girls (Yang and Weiss) and looking bad for our 2 others girls (Ruby and Blake).

I think Qrow could die, but I think Sun will be okay. i think this girl looks younger because of her body type. Not all girls have the same body type.

I think Jaune’s point of needing everything explained is gone, it’s time for his martyrdom. They will not kill off the Monty alter ego imho. The English aren’t there to burn him however.

Everyone will be heading to Haven in various states at the end (including Oscar) with a coup at Menagerie, a beaten up Ruby, Weiss via plane to Patch (where else would she go?). In their long term play one volume of separation isn’t too much from their point of view.

Ilya, faux younger sister, stayed in the Fang with Blake. There’s no need for romance there.

I just listened to your last two podcasts one after the other. Somewhere in there Delaney mentioned that all of the new characters this seas seem to be men. In the writers’ defense, this season clearly seems to be about the main Team RWBY characters interacting with their fathers (or in Ruby’s case her uncle/father figure). Thus we ended up with several new male characters this season.

I’m predicting that next season we start dealing with the characters’ mothers, who seem much more interesting.

For Yang that would be Raven, who has huge potential.

For Weiss, it’s her unnamed mother who’s spent Season 4 drinking in the garden. She the daughter of a hunter, the mother of a soldier and a huntress, and presumably carries the gene that allows all Schnees to summon. Is she just waiting for a reason to become a badass?

For Blake, it’s Kalli, who seems like an ordinary housewife right now. You never know, however.

For Ruby, perhaps we’ll learn the secret of Summer Rose’s death. In his poisoned ramblings last episode, Qrow mumbled something about “Tai, she’s not coming back.” Was he talking about Summer? Does he know the mystery?

    Time will tell.
