And the news just keeps on coming, Cartoon Network just released a clip for “Gem Harvest” I already emailed you the link, when you get a chance to see it, email me and we can discuss stuff that we can’t discuss here.

  2. Steve says:

I always thought Lapis reminded me a lot of Pearl, and the Video Chat short validate that, because that is such a Pearl thing to do and I love it.

    1. As the Redditor who links to your podcast, I understand Sam; the new-age forums aren’t for everybody. And at least according to the poll we organized on the subreddit, we’re actually one of the more diverse show reddits out there. But yeah, we got a couple of troglodytes like every show does.

    2. Peridot is totally gonna watch the straight to Netflix Gilmore Girls movies coming out this fall.

    3. From best to worst: Video Chat, Steven Reacts, Cooking With Lion, Gem Karaoke, the Overly Animated Crying Breakfast Friends Podcast, Steven’s Song Time

lol I love that you commented on this, thanks for always posting our stuff! Yeah SU subreddit seems cool from what I’ve seen. Gilmore Girls is a good call for Peri.

    Re: CN’s motivation for shorts.

Every once in a while they do tend to have weird little gaps I their programming that aren’t big enough to fit a full episode of something in. (Happens with DisneyXD too) Usually happens when they’re airing movies. Maybe they ask all their shows to provide them with something to help fill these gaps.

I loved the karaoke one. My sister in law (who is from the Philippines) introduced me to karaoke machines like this. I love the details like the song menu book and remote control for the screen. The only thing missing was the hilariously random background music videos these machines usually have 😀

  6. Man, it’s really disheartening to hear you guys don’t like reaction videos. Especially considering these podcasts aren’t very far removed.

I guess you are old. :p
