Complete Rick and Morty Episode Rankings

By: Dylan Hysen

Rick and Morty Season 3 has unfortunately come to a end, concluding what’s definitely one of the best seasons of TV of the year. While we begin the surely interminable wait for Season 4, here are my complete rankings of every Rick and Morty episode, up to date for all of Season 3.

  1. Total Rickall
  2. The Ricklantis Mixup/Tales from the Citadel
  3. Lawnmower Dog
  4. Rixty Minutes
  5. The Ricks Must Be Crazy

This is the elite tier of episodes. Season 3 only added one entry here but what an episode it was. “The Ricklantis Mixup” is one of the best episodes of TV of the year and there’s definitely an argument for it being the best Rick and Morty episode ever.

  1. Mortynight Run
  2. Rest and Ricklaxation
  3. Ricksy Business
  4. Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind
  5. The ABC’s of Beth
  6. Pickle Rick
  7. Meeseeks and Destroy
  8. The Rickshank Rickdemption
  9. A Rickle In Time
  10. Rick Potion #9
  11. The Wedding Squanchers
  12. Rickmancing the Stone
  13. Interdimensional Cable 2: Tempting Fate
  14. Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender

The above episodes are all truly great. Season 3 added an astounding 6 episodes to this tier, which is what makes the season so great. The meat of this season was spectacular and very consistent.

  1. Look Who’s Purging Now
  2. Auto Erotic Assimilation
  3. Raising Gazorazorp
  4. Anatomy Park
  5. Something Ricked This Way Comes
  6. Pilot
  7. The Rickchurian Mortydate
  8. Big Trouble in Little Sanchez
  9. The Whirly Dirly Conspiracy
  10. Night Shaym-Aliens!
  11. Morty’s Mind Blowers
  12. Get Schwifty

These are the weakest episodes of the show, but as I always say, there are no bad episodes of Rick and Morty. All the above episodes are at least good and most very good. Only 3 episodes of Season 3 fell into this tier for me, which was very impressive, but they were a pretty weak set of episodes.
